The spook-tacularly spirited season of Halloween is quickly approaching, so now would be the perfect time to share some local ghost stories.

We would like to hear from our readers about North Idaho's haunted places. Do unseen guests frequent some of your own favorite haunts? Does your home or workplace seem like it's never really empty? Was your house built by an old graveyard and certain rooms give you the willies? Do you see things out of the corner of your eye, but try to justify it or explain it away?

In the past, The Press has investigated several allegedly haunted locations with stories that send shivers down the spine, from apparition sightings to alarms going off for no apparent reason.

What's your paranormal experience?

In the spirit of Halloween, The Press would like to hear the stories and see the haunted locations. From taverns and inns to schools and private residences, we're interested in how unseen forces make themselves known and why they linger.

If you have a haunted place to share, please contact paranormal reporter Devin Heilman at 664-8176, extension 1111.
