Badgers eye run at league title, playoffs

BONNERS FERRY — Badger Football is led by head coach, Cory Kramer and assistants Don Alt, Chris Sabin, Kevin Stockton, Corey Richards and Kurt Carey.
Kramer has been coaching football since 1995 and has enjoyed the competitive atmosphere.
“I enjoy having the privilege of leading today's youth and watching them grow as a team,” said Kramer.
The goals for the 2016 Badger football is win league and make some noise in the playoffs.
The toughest obstacle that the team will face this season is the first six games.
According to Kramer, the first six on the schedule are tough.
“If we can stay healthy going into league play, we should be setup to make a run,” Kramer commented.
Communication is Coach Kramer’s greatest asset. According to Kramer, he has always been able to relate and communicate with the kids.
He has an open door policy with parents and players, a key tool that he believes is missing in today’s sports.
“I encourage players to ask questions or come to me with concerns, and for the most part, most of them do,” said Kramer.
The 12 returning seniors, have been starters since their sophomore year. The Badger offensive line last year was well liked by the coaching staff, and the team will be young but very capable once the boys find their right position. With the depth of skill position, it should be exciting once the team gets clicking.
The perimeter for defense is strong, according to Kramer. The defense needs to get the right D-Line and pass rushers in the right spots and the Badgers should have a great defense.
