Victoria Lyn Crowe Casey passed away on Sept. 20, 2016, at Hospice House of North Idaho. She was 63 years old and lost her battle with cancer. Vickie was born in San Diego, Calif., at the Balboa Hospital on Aug. 18, 1953, with her twin sister, Terry Ann Crowe McKernan.

In 1965, the Crowe family relocated to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Victoria (Vickie) attended Dalton Elementary School, Coeur d’Alene High School and North Idaho College. While living next to Dalton Elementary School, Vickie learned to ride and had her own horse, Rebel. She was a member of the High Chaparrals Riding Club and participated in a number of parades in Coeur d’Alene. She was an excellent swimmer and spent nearly every summer through high school on Hayden Lake where she was active in boating, water skiing and swimming. These were some of her happiest times. She was an exceptional cook and loved trying new recipes, baking and making jelly. She loved animals, especially her dog, Mason. Vickie worked for many years in the health care field as a Home Health CNA. She traveled extensively and spent time in Europe and Turkey, as well as living in Edmonton, Canada, for a year.

Vickie was a Christian and looked forward to returning to God and her daughter, Jill, who passed away at age 2 1/2 months old.

She is survived by her father, James B. Crowe; her mother, Carolyn A. Crowe; her son, Chad Teeter; her daughter, Amie L. Anderson (Matt); her sister, Terry Ann Crowe McKernan; her brother, James Crowe Jr.; her sister, Patricia McGinnis Romero (J.B.); grandson Ryan Teeter; triplet grandsons Bennett, Owen and Evan Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank LaCrosse Health and Rehabilitation and Hospice of North Idaho for their help and efforts during Vickie’s illness.
