In a Saturday away game against Eureka, the Lady Loggers volleyball team brought home their third win of the week with four matches of 25-18, 16-25, 25-18, 27-25.

The team had a lower-than-average ace score, with three in total. Emma Gruber, Jessika Jones and Hailey Cannon each provided one ace each. The team had 43 kills, with Rainer and Mehki Sykes slamming 12 each, and Jayden Winslow giving nine. Allie Collins gave 26 sets, with an impressive 40 assists for the team. Brooklyn Rainer blocked the ball six times, and Sykes blocked three with a team-total of 10. With 69 digs, Gruber gave 18 digs, with Collins’s 16 and Winslow’s 10.

“During the second set the wheels fell off. We couldn’t do anything right,” Libby head volleyball coach Cindy Ostrem-Johnston said. “Then in the next one we got our composure back. They did a great job of staying calm and confident at the end of the last game.

The Loggers are now 3-0 in conference and 8-1 overall.

The Lady Loggers hosted Thompson Falls on Sept. 27.
