earn STIHL gold certification

Seright’s Ace Hardware announced Dan Green, Seright’s small engine mechanic and STIHL service technician, recently returned from Virginia Beach, Va., with STIHL’s MasterWrench Gold Certification.

STIHL MasterWrench Service is a designation recognizing select STIHL dealers and technicians who have continually exceeded expectations through extensive training and a proven record of accomplishment of customer satisfaction.

This achievement requires three stages of training: the bronze, silver and gold STIHL MasterWrench Service training courses. Each stage of training is designed to incrementally increase the technician’s level of knowledge. The technician must pass an exam based on the content of the training curriculum before advancing to the next level of service training.

After achieving the bronze and silver qualifications, Seright’s Ace Hardware and Green applied for and were granted an invitation to attend the gold-level STIHL MasterWrench Service training course in Virginia. The sponsoring dealership and technician must both qualify in order for the technician to advance to the gold-level training.

Seright’s Ace Hardware has been a STIHL dealer for many years, and offers a large inventory of STIHL products through its three store locations. The STIHL service department is located at the Post Falls location; however, equipment requiring service can be dropped off at Seright’s Rathdrum or Coeur d’Alene locations. Seright’s technician is certified on STIHL products, but the company offers service on most makes and models.
