Man denies meth distribution charges

A man from Flathead County denied allegations that he sold meth to an undercover informant.
Jamie Phillip Kair, 27, pleaded not guilty to criminal distribution of dangerous drugs before Flathead District Court Judge Heidi Ulbricht on March 30.
In January 2017, an informant for the Northwest Drug Task Force arranged to meet with Kair, who had allegedly agreed to sell methamphetamine.
The two met at a location where the informant paid $250 for 1/8 ounce of meth, which Kair then allegedly put into the console of the informant’s car.
The informant then turned the drugs over to the Drug Task Force for testing to confirm that it was meth.
A jury trial was set for Sept. 11.
If convicted, Kair could face up to life in prison and a $50,000 fine.
