The Wave aquatic and fitness center of Whitefish is once again partnering with Whitefish Safe Grad Night to host the 2017 Whitefish High School senior safe grad night party on Saturday, June 3.

To help offset the cost of producing the graduation night party, Safe Grad Night will be selling Wave 60-day temporary membership vouchers for $50. Buyers must be 18 years or older, must not have been a full or temporary member of The Wave within the past six months, and must redeem the vouchers within 30 days from the date of voucher purchase. The vouchers will be on sale for a two-week period beginning April 1. Vouchers can be purchased at The Bulldog Saloon and Sprouts in downtown Whitefish. Safe Grad Night will also be selling vouchers at Super 1 Foods in Whitefish weekdays from 3–7 p.m. and on weekends from noon to 6 p.m. The Wave vouchers are limited to one per person, per year.

Traditionally, the two highest risk nights for high school students are prom and graduation nights. Safe Grad Night parties have become popular throughout the United States by offering high school graduates a safe, sober, and spectacular graduation celebration.

These parties are organized by a committed group of parents partnering with the support of local businesses and community members who can be assured that their children are celebrating in a safe, fun environment. Past support from the community has made this event hugely successful, attracting nearly 100 percent of the senior graduating class. Safe Grad Night is a nonprofit organization accepting tax-deductible monetary and in-kind contributions. Contributions may be sent to WSGN, PO Box 4185, Whitefish, MT 59937.
