Sex offender wanted in Lake County

A sex offender is wanted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office after failing to register.

Phillip Pierre, 56, is a Level III sex offender and probationer, was recently released from prison. He has a $25,000 warrant out for his arrest.

Pierre has a history of rape, prison escape and burglary, in addition to multiple parole violations.

He is described as a 5-foot-10-inch American Indian man with black hair and multiple tattoos.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is advised to contact the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 406-883-7301 or a local law enforcement agency.
