POST FALLS — Four Spokane residents face multiple charges after they were arrested during traffic stop in Post Falls early Thursday morning.
Patrick O. Connors, 18, had a felony warrant issued by the Washington Department of Corrections for second-degree robbery.
Connors; David P. Holden, 45; and Hanna Q. Borello, 25, were charged with possession of drugs (methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin), providing false information to officers and possession of drug paraphernalia. Holden also had an felony warrant for previous drugs charges in Washington.
Kayla J. Holden, 23, the driver, was charged with providing false information, failing to purchase a driver’s license and concealing evidence.
Deputies pulled the car over in the area of Ross Point Road and Seltice Way at 12:55 a.m. due to an expired license plate.
During the contact, based on the actions of the occupants, deputies believed one or more of the occupants were likely under the influence of drugs, a Kootenai County Sheriff's Office press release states.
Deputies also discovered all of the occupants allegedly had provided them with false names. After learning their true identities, deputies discovered two of the occupants were wanted felons.
Drugs, including marijuana, heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and paraphernalia items such as loaded syringes were found in the vehicle.
"This group admitted they stopped at the Stateline Walmart, which was closed, and were on their way to Walmart in Post Falls (on Mullan Avenue)," the press release states. "It’s not known their intentions. However, deputies also discovered several items in the car such as credit cards and driver's licenses not belonging to anyone in the car. These items were taken as evidence and may lead to other criminal charges in the future."
