Mary Alison “ChiChi” Moens, 55, of Strongsville, Ohio, passed away April 13, 2017.

She is survived by her darling children, Megan and Connor Bowman; her loving siblings, Kelly Bertoni (Ray), Tracy Moens and Mike Moens; and Tom Bowman, the father of her children. Preceded in death by her parents, Carol Couch and Digby Moens.

Alison, also known as “ChiChi” to her childhood friends, was a vivacious, athletic, intelligent and charismatic woman. She had the most clever sense of humor, and anyone who was lucky enough to hear her beautiful laughter will hold that sound dearly in the heart forever! She had a deep love of music as well as a strong devotion to her many pets. She was a protective and supportive mother, a devoted sister and she cherished her many friends. Lucky are those of us who knew her, loved her and were blessed to have shared in her life.

Visitation was held Monday, April 17, 2017, at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. today, April 18, 2017, at St. John Neumann Church, Strongsville. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or an animal shelter of your choice.
