The Columbia Falls softball team lost to conference foe Frenchtown 7-0 on the road Friday. The game was supposed to be played on Thursday, but was delayed a day because of rain.

The Kats are now 4-5 on the season and 0-2 in conference play.

The Kats split the bill at home Saturday. They beat Stevensville 6-2, but lost to Corvallis, 6-0.

The Corvallis game featured junior varsity players.

The Kats have had a hard time hitting the ball consistently this season.

Peyton Kehr led the Kats against Frenchtown, going 2-3.

The squad gets a week off and then plays Whitefish next Thursday. Game time is 6 p.m.
