Kalispell City Council to discuss impact fees

A work session has been scheduled for Monday, April 24 during which the Kalispell City Council plans to have a general discussion of the city’s impact fees.
The discussion has cropped up in multiple recent meetings but has so far been kept short as a result of time restrictions.
According to City Manager Doug Russell, new developments wanting to connect to city infrastructure such as sewer lines or water mains must pay fees to receive those public services.
With several new developments cropping up across the city, council requested a work session to specifically discuss these fees.
The work session will take place at 7 p.m. Monday at Kalispell City Hall, 201 First Ave. E., Kalispell.
