SANDPOINT — Wildflower Day Spa celebrated its grand re-opening and many in Sandpoint cheered its newest entrepreneur, Keisch Exner-Berrey.

“To be honest, I’m new at owning a spa but this is just the beginning,” Exner-Berrey said. “And I’m so grateful for how supportive people have been in helping me reach this dream.”

Her candidness regarding the new ownership highlights a spirit of adventure that she seems to bring to the new pursuit.

“Many of us in Sandpoint care deeply about being healthy and living life to the fullest,’ she said. “Wildflower is a part of that lifestyle. We want our clients to feel prepared — on the inside and on the outside — to live their best life.”

Exner-Berrey purchased Wildflower Day Spa from founder Dauray Tannahill, who plans to return to Marin County, California, to be nearer family.

“Ownership of Wildflower Spa has been lovingly transferred to Keisch,” said Tannahill. “She and the Wildflower team will continue Wildflower’s four-star service,” having earned the spa the Bonner County Award for “Best Day Spa” in 2016.

While Exner-Berrey may be new to entrepreneurship, she is not new to the spa industry. Prior to purchasing Wildflower, she held positions as lead therapist at two Pacific Northwest spas. In addition, she has been licensed in massage therapy in multiple states for over a decade.

“I’m excited for Wildflower’s continued success,” said Rose Morningstar, owner of Body Tech Massage Therapy and Wellness in Hayden, Idaho. “There’s a great team in-place there and an energetic new owner at the helm; I look forward to partnering with them in the future!”

Wildflower Day Spa is open seven days a week by appointment and offers a full menu of spa services including massage therapy, skin care, and a full hair salon.
