MT West Dentist gets set to crown new building

The new building across from The Circle has been going through a bit of a face-lift this past week.
That’s because MT West Dentist is getting set to move into their new space at the end of the month.
“We’re really excited for this next step,” said Dr. Elizabeth Ordelheide.
Even though it’s business as usual, there is a real excitement when talking to staff about setting up shop in the two-story building.
“The top floor will be the dental practice, we will start with eight chairs then will bump up to 11, which will make it full capacity,” Ordelheide said. “The downstairs floor will be split in half; we will rent one side out and the other will be more of a team area for training or workshops.”
At this stage they have no confirmation of the rental space rented, though the Valley Press was told that there is an optometrist who has interest in the space to set up a satellite shop here.
Ordelheide also said they have plans in the future to offer free community health classes for anyone that wants to learn some better health tips and practices.
For the moment there is no grand opening scheduled. However, they plan on beginning the move on Aug. 24 to be ready to open doors on Aug. 28.
“We just locked in a date for an open house for the whole community to come and check it all out,” Ordelheide said. “Oct. 4 is the day, but we haven’t worked a time out just yet.
“We do have a little celebratory bottle of bubbly for the day when we can officially swing the doors open,” she added.
