A rich drink that’s hard to beat.

It’s not always about cranking the flavor gauge to 10 when making craft beer.

Sometimes the right mix of ingredients can produce a beer that has just the right amount of taste that doesn’t overpower the drinker.

Wallace Brewing’s Compressor SMaSH (Single Malt and Single Hop) Amber Lager is one of these beers.

Clocking in at 5.3 percent ABV and 42 IBU, this well balanced beverage is solid on every level.

A malty aroma and lighter feel are very inviting upon consumption.

The main flavor coming from the combination of Bolander Munich malt and Northern Brewer hops has an almost malty toasted caramel taste.

This sounds like a rich flavor that could almost be too much, but Wallace Brewing has made sure that this one goes down smooth.

A clean finish with almost no aftertaste caps off the experience.

Taking a silver medal in its flight at the 2017 North American Brewers Association competition, there is a reason why this newer beer is quickly gaining popularity.

With its reasonable ABV and great taste that won’t fill you up, I suggest having a couple yourself to see what what all the buzz is about!
