Vandalism was reported in the Mohsen Drive area in Sagle at 11:09 p.m.

A reckless driver was reported in the area of Rebecca’s Way and N. Main Street in Kootenai at 12:05 a.m.

Report of a traffic offense in the Kootenai Meadow Drive at 12:18 a.m.

Report of juvenile problem in the 800 block of Algoma Spur Road in Sagle at 12:48 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Aug. 3

A parking problem was reported on Ontario Street at 7:57 a.m.

A case was assigned to cover a report of driving without privileges in the area of Madison Avenue and Ontario Street at 9:14 a.m.

A non-injury accident was reported in the area of S. Third and Dearborn at 9:45 a.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Railroad Depot Road at 9:54 a.m.

A parking problem was reported in the area of Forest Avenue and Cedar Street at 10:45 a.m.

A case was assigned to cover a mental health call on N. Fifth Avenue at 10:49 a.m.

After a welfare check request on the bike path in the area of Division Avenue and Highway 2 at 12:25 p.m., officers checked on an elderly female and advised she refused any assistance.

While in the 1400 block of Cedar Street at 3:02 p.m., an officer answered a citizen’s questions regarding child custody issues.

Alex S Hoyle, 27, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the area of Sixth and Larch at 3:55 p.m. on a charge of driving without privileges.

An officer was unable to locate a reported reckless driver in the 600 block of Larch Street at 4:22 p.m.

A vehicle with a dog left inside had already left the area when the officer arrived in the 600 block of Larch Street at 5:01 p.m.

Request for a civil standby at the fairgrounds for a child custody exchange at 5:01 p.m.

Officers responded to a verbal domestic in the 200 block of Church Street at 6:40 p.m.

A Trek bicycle was taken from the 700 block of Chestnut Street at 9:05 p.m.

After a complaint of a fireworks violation in the Euclid Avenue area at 10 p.m., an officer advised fireworks were being set off at the Festival at Sandpoint.

Officers contacted a large group of juveniles on Ontario Street after a report of disorderly conduct at 10:25 p.m.; they were just playing around.

After a DUI investigation in the area of W. Superior Street and Lavina Avenue at 11:13 p.m., a driver was released without charges.

Aug. 4

Officers assisted Ponderay Police on a call in the Kootenai Meadow Drive area at 12:18 a.m.

Allen D. Roth, 30, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 200 block of Bonner Mall Way at 1:04 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence (second offense).

An officer was unable to locate any drug activity after a report of a controlled substance incident on Euclid Avenue at 1:33 a.m.

Aug. 3

An officer responded to a reported burglary in the 200 block of Cedar Avenue at 10:04 a.m.

An officer investigated a no-contact order violation in the 476700 block of Highway 95 at 1:34 p.m.

An officer conducted a drug investigation in the 1100 block of Fontaine Drive at 2:12 p.m.

An officer took a report of a traffic offense in the 30400 block of Highway 200 at 3:24 p.m.

An officer took a report of a burglary in the 400 block of Bonner Mall Way at 4:23 p.m.

An officer assisted Bonner County deputies with a reckless driver investigation in the 32000 block of Highway 200 in Kootenai at 8:49 p.m.

An officer took a report of shoplifting in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 9:14 p.m.

A vehicle struck a sign in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue and then fled the scene at 9:10 p.m.

An officer took a report of a disorderly male in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 11:33 p.m.
