OTHELLO —The Othello Farmers Market is no longer open on Saturday. The popular venue has been moved to Thursday, but the location (Pioneer Park) remains the same. The hours of operation are 3-7 p.m.

“We wanted to try something new,” said Bianca Mendoza, manager of The Greater Othello Chamber of Commerce. The hope was to attract more vendors and patrons and so far the Thursday market has proven to attract both she explained.

Mendoza added vendors of handcrafted items, produce or baked goods that want to be a part of the Farmers Market are asked to call (509)488-2683 for a vendor application. Direct sales vendors, she said, are also welcome to apply under business expo.

The final day of the 2017 Farmers Market is Thursday, Oct. 26.
