Idaho State Police said Jennifer R. Jones, 39, was southbound on Highway 95 near milepost 509 in a 2006 Ford Explorer when she drove left of center and struck a 2008 Dodge Caravan head on. The Caravan’s driver, Dale L. Olsen, 82, of Bonners Ferry, and his passenger, Dorothy N. Olsen, 78, of Bonners Ferry were both wearing the seatbelts and transported to Boundary Community Hospital.

Jones, who was not wearing her seatbelt, was initially taken to Boundary Community Hospital before being transported Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene by ground ambulance.

An investigation is ongoing.
