KCFR's Candy Cane Run tonight in Dalton, Wednesday in Post Falls

Kootenai County Fire and Rescue and Santa will be in Dalton Gardens tonight and in Post Falls Wednesday night from 6 to 9 p.m.

The crew will be accepting cash donations for Press Christmas for All, non-perishable food for local food banks and toys for Toys for Tots.

When you hear sirens, come out for a candy cane and a photo with Santa.

One Dalton route will start at Rude and Hanley and cover Valley, Colfax and Fourth streets between Dalton and Prairie.

The other Dalton Route will start at 17th and Hanley and cover 16th, 15th, Mount Carroll and Davenport streets between Dalton and Deerhaven.

Both Dalton routes will end at Davenport and Hanley.

The six Post Falls stops will include, in order, the Woodbridge subdivision at Seltice and Silkwood by the park; the Siony Apartments on Siony Lane; Montrose subdivision at Willamette and Palouse; Fieldstone subdivision at Bobwhite Lane; Knapp Drive and Poleline near Post Falls High; and Park Ridge Apartments and Second and Ridgewood near Capone's Pub and Grill.
