With just two seniors and an overall young team the St. Regis Tigers 14C boys team has a tough road in front of them this season. Returning senior, Ryan Teeter was unable to play last year due to a torn ACL and the other senior, Jacob Jasper, hasn’t played basketball since junior high. But he wanted to play this season to make sure the Tigers had a team said Head Coach, Jesse Allan.

The rest consists of three sophomores: Nicholas Day, Ian Ferris, and Broc Wright. Along with one junior, James Booker, and freshmen Andrew Sanford and Zane Antos.

“We are young but they have been working hard,” said Allan. “They should be a fun group to watch and they are motivated and eager to build something in St. Regis that will last.”

Each player is going to be asked to play a role they have not had to before and Allan is excited to see their growth as a team. “While I know how tough the top of our District is, I believe this season can be successful and these young guys will find ways to win ball games.”

Assistant coach is Tim Yeager and John Pruitt is the team manager.
