PRIEST RIVER — The body of missing Priest River resident Christine Lott, who was 34 at the time of her disappearance in 2004 has been found.

Her remains were discovered along a USFS Road in 2016, but news of her discovery was kept confidential until her husband could be located and interviewed.

Her death is being investigated as a homicide by the Kootenai County and Bonner County sheriff’s office.
