Libby boys, girls lose to Hamilton

MISSOULA — Libby stayed close for one quarter before Hamilton pulled away for a lopsided victory at the Tip-Off Tournament.

Hamilton, up 26-15 after the first quarter, blew the game open with a 32-point second quarter for a 58-21 halftime lead.

Libby’s Ryggs Johnston led all scorers with 23 points.

Hunter Omlid and Tanner Goligoski had 17 each for Hamilton.

MISSOULA — Hamilton outscored Libby 18-4 in the fourth quarter to pull out the Tip-Off Tournament victory.

Cariann Kunkel topped Hamilton, and all scorers, with 20 points. Jayden Winslow tallied 13 for Libby.
