North Idaho Christian downs Clark Fork

COEUR d’ALENE — North Idaho Christian used a press out of halftime, helping the Royals outscore visiting Clark Fork 21-6 in the period en route to a 45-34 nonconference win Monday night at Holy Family Catholic School.

Cross Pilgrim led NICS with 23 points and 14 rebounds while Jordan Holmes added 10 points for the Royals (9-0), who host Lakeside tonight at 6 at Holy Family.

Kobe Banks led the Wampus Cats with 9 points.

Clark Fork 46, North Idaho Christian 26: A slow start by North Idaho Christian and the balanced scoring of Clark Fork helped the Wampus Cats earn a road win over the Royals.

Tessa Sutton had 12 points to lead Clark Fork (2-5), while Mary Schlader led NICS with 18 points, 15 rebounds, six blocks and five steals.

The Royals (4-6) host Pullman Christian at 6 p.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic School.
