COEUR D’ALENE – With the 2018 Idaho legislative session set to convene on January 8, 2018, District 4 State Representatives Luke Malek (R) and Paul Amador (R) will host a Town Hall Forum with constituents in Coeur d’Alene to discuss their priorities for the session as well as hear the concerns of North Idaho constituents. The Town Hall will take place Saturday, December 16th from 10:30am-12:00pm at the Coeur d’Alene Library (702 E. Front Avenue).

“Town halls are absolutely the best way for constituents to make sure that their voices are heard,” said Representative Malek. “There is nothing that informs me better about how people are feeling and the issues that are important to those I represent.”

“Listening and engaging with constituents at Town Hall forums is critical to my experience and ability to represent the citizens of Idaho; I encourage anyone who is concerned about the future of Idaho to share their thoughts at this Town Hall or by contacting us individually. I have several priorities during the upcoming session including a renewed focus on education, including our K-12 system as well as our colleges and universities. I will also be focusing on several issues that deal with protecting some of Idaho’s most vulnerable citizens, our children” said Representative Amador.

Idaho’s citizen legislature convenes annually at the State Capitol in Boise in early January and usually adjourns in late March.

Constituents unable to attend are encouraged to contact their lawmakers by email at www.legislature.idaho.gov.
