The Coeur d’Alene Blues Festival has achieved Hall of Fame status.

The multi-day event, held each year at The Coeur d’Alene Resort, was recently named this year’s Best Blues Festival by the Inland Empire Blues Society. The Coeur d’Alene Blues Festival won the top honor over the Winthrop Blues Festival and the outdoor Rock Cut Blues Festival.

This is the third consecutive year Coeur d’Alene Blues Festival has won this award, which means it is a Hall Of Fame winner and ineligible to win the same award for another three years.

Plans are underway for the 2018 Coeur d’Alene Blues Festival, scheduled for March 23 to 25.

Confirmed headliners include five-time Grammy nominee from Texas, Marcia Ball; and Anson Funderburgh, from Nashville. Featured performers will includee Rose City Kings, Portland; Rafael Tranquilino, Seattle; and The Andy T Band featuring Alabama Mike.

Newcomer Shoot Jake, a rocking young trio from Kennewick, Wash., will play the Friday night Blues Cruise, along with Inland Northwest favorite The Sidemen. There will be some area favorites returning and a V.I.P. meet and greet in the Hagadone penthouse suite.

Tickets for the 2018 festival are on sale now. Saturday festival tickets are $39. Room packages that include all-access passes will also be available.

The Coeur d’Alene Blues Festival is presented by The Coeur d’Alene Resort and Too Far North Productions. Visit cdabluesfestival.com for more details.
