Kip and Sandi Clark, of Coeur d’Alene, have been called to serve a Family/Church History Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for a year in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Utah Salt Lake City Headquarters. They recently entered the Missionary Training Center and will receive their specific assignments upon completion of their training on Dec. 15.

They previously served a mission in the Tennessee Knoxville Mission and felt it was the greatest experience a senior couple can have.

Gerald and Susan Ericksen, received their call to serve an 18-month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission. They submitted their papers while longtime residents of Post Falls, but recently moved to American Fork, Utah.

They will enter the Missionary Training Center in Provo on Jan. 8, 2018, and work as Member and Leadership Support. Their assignment will be to the Elberton Branch in the northeast part of the state and the mission.

Elberton has a population of approximately 4,420 and has been slowly decreasing in size over the past half century. Elder and Sister Ericksen look forward to working in a small town where they can get to know the people and be of service in the community.
