COEUR d’ALENE — Tournament MVP RayQuan Evans totaled 27 points, nine rebounds and four assists as North Idaho College finished 3-0 at its Northwest Athletic Conference crossover with an 84-67 victory over Highline Community College of Des Moines, Wash., on Tuesday afternoon at Rolly Williams Court.

Tyler Brimhall, an all-tourney selection, hit 5 of 9 3-pointers and added 23 points and seven rebounds for NIC (7-3). Aushanti Potts-Woods had 14 points and Jarod Greene had 12 points and six boards.

Highline (4-7) shot 16 of 32 from 3-point range, hitting more 3s than 2s (12). NIC was 11 of 22 from behind the arc.

Coby Rothwell hit 6 of 9 3-pointers and led Highline with 18 points.

NIC returns to action next week, hosting the Coeur d’Alene Inn-vitational Dec. 28-30.
