NIC men top Shoreline

COEUR d’ALENE — North Idaho College doubled up Shoreline in rebounding and also held a comfortable advantage on the scoreboard, as the Cardinals topped the Dolphins 84-67 late Monday night in the second game of an NWAC crossover tournament.

RayQuan Evans led the Cardinals with 29 points and 14 rebounds, helping NIC to a 60-30 edge on the boards. Jarod Greene added 17 points for the Cardinals (6-3), Tyler Brimhall scored 14 points and Iaian McLaughlin had 10 rebounds off the bench.

Terrell Brown Jr. led Shoreline with 28 points.

NIC hosts another NWAC crossover game tonight, facing Highline at 8.
