Cats swimmers compete in Great Falls

The Columbia Falls High School swim team was in action over the weekend as the Wildcats competed at the Great Falls Invitational.

The Wildcats finished 16th overall at the competition as the boys were 11th and and the girls placed 12th.

The team’s top finish at the relay meet was in the boys 400-yard freestyle, where the Wildcats came in eighth. The boys also finished ninth in the 200-yard medley relay, 12th in the 200-yard backstroke relay, and 11th in the 200-yard mixed relay.

The girls earned ninth in the 200-yard backstroke relay.

The team will be off for the holidays but will be back in action Jan. 6 at the Missoula Invitational.
