COLUMBIA FALLS — Balanced scoring carried Columbia Falls to an easy 73-40 Northwest A Conference girls basketball victory over Ronan on Friday.

Columbia Falls led 32-17 at intermission and 54-32 heading into the final eight minutes of play.

Hannah Gedlaman topped Columbia Falls in scoring with 21 points. Dani Douglas checked in with 18 points while Ryley Kehr and Trista Cowan both had 11.

Ronan’s leader was Micalann McCrea with 17.

Libby 46, Whitefish 23

LIBBY — Jayden Winslow netted 19 points and Shannon Reny added 12 for the bulk of Libby’s offense in a lopsided victory over Whitefish in a Northwest A Conference contest on Thursday.

Libby outscored Whitefish 33-13 in the second half to blow the game open.

Winslow scored nine points in the third quarter and 12 in the final half.

Annisa Brown was Whitefish’s leading scorer with six points.

Libby had four 3s in the game by four different players and went 10 of 19 from the free-throw line.

COLUMBIA FALLS — Ronan outscored Columbia Falls 7-4 in overtime to pick up the Northwest A Conference win.

Anthony Camel dropped in 35 points to pace Ronan, and all scorers.

Dallas Durheim added 10 for the victors.

Quintin Schriver tallied 18 points for Columbia Falls, Lowell Panasuk finished with 11 and Drew Mogan 10.

Columbia Falls rallied with a strong second half to force the extra session.

POLSON — Browning used a fast start to top Polson (3-4, 1-1) in a Northwest A Conference contest.

Browning jumped in front 18-6 after the first quarter and led 25-20 at the half.

Brandon Aimsback led Browning in scoring with 17 points.

Shade Main scored 14 for Polson.
