Jake Pfennigs

Post Falls High

Pfennigs, a 6-foot-7 senior forward, had 33 points and 10 rebounds in the Trojans 80-59 win over Chino Hills (Calif.) in the final day of the Tarkanian Classic on Saturday at Bishop Gorman High. For the tournament, Pfennigs scored 90 points and grabbed 49 rebounds, and was named to the all-tournament team. “I’ve never seen Jake play any better,” Post Falls coach Mike McLean said. “I get asked a lot if he’s the best player we’ve ever had. I don’t know about that, but we haven’t had anybody better. I’ve never seen a player in a Post Falls uniform have a better stretch.”
