Accident blocks Roosevelt Road

BONNERS FERRY — Shortly after 11 a.m. an injury accident occurred on Roosevelt Road, near Zimmerman Road, involving a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle. According to first responders, the road conditions were reported to be very slick, and Boundary County Road & Bridge was called in to sand the area.
“First Responders are on scene and this location should be avoided as the accident investigation will take at least an hour,” said Boundary County Public Information Officer Mike Meier. “Roosevelt road is closed at this time and will be for some time!”
