Ted J. Fischbach, 87
Ted J. Fischbach, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away on Jan. 24, 2017, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Ted was born in Anaheim, Calif., on Jan. 25, 1929, to Theodore B. and Margaret E. (Schmidt) Fischbach. He lived and worked his entire career in the Anaheim area until his retirement in 1991.
Ted married his high school sweetheart, Marion Iris Davies, on July 25, 1948. Both Ted and Marion had graduated from Anaheim High School.
During the Korean War era, Ted proudly served in the United States Air Force, 72nd Air Base Squadron. When he returned from service to Anaheim, his career was as a mechanical engineer with Comfort Conditioning Company and Thermalair.
Ted is survived by his two daughters, Teddy Noye of Utah and Juliana Lockshaw of Aliso Viejo; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and Ted’s sister, Marjorie Amling (wife of Wallace) of Vista, Calif.
Preceding Ted in death was his wife of 66 years, Marion I. Fischbach; his parents, Ted Sr. and Margaret Fischbach; and his sister, Mavis Patin (wife of Charles).
Idaho arrangements were made by English Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at the Hilgenfeld Mortuary Chapel in Anaheim. Reception to follow.
