Chiefs power past Medicine Hat

SPOKANE — Jaret Anderson-Dolan finished with a four-point night, scoring three goals on the power play to lead the Spokane Chiefs past the Medicine Hat Tigers 5-3 in Western Hockey League play in front of 8,564 at the Spokane Arena on Friday.

Spokane (21-22-6-2, 50 points) trails Portland by nine points for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Medicine Hat tied the score at 3-3 two minutes into the third period, but Anderson-Dolan scored the eventual game-winner with 11:52 remaining in the third, his 27th goal of the season.

Keanu Yamamoto notched an empty netter to cap the scoring for Spokane, which hosts Kamloops tonight at 7:05.
