Trek Store Coeur d'Alene opens on Fourth

Bicycle products and services are offered at Trek Store Coeur d’Alene at 1104 N. Fourth St. Formerly Bicycle Sales & Service, the business moved from eight blocks north after its building was damaged.

Products are Trek and Bontrager while the parts and service department services all makes and models of bicycles. Owner Carrie Martin and Chris Robinson will direct sales, and Joseph Cromer and Cully Todd will direct service with free estimates.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and daily in the summer. Phone 667-8969. The website of www.trekcda.com opens Monday. Soft opening activities are this month, and the grand opening will be in May.

Silverlake Automotive

opens in Post Falls

Complete automotive service by certified technicians and warranties all makes and models is offered at Silverlake Automotive that opened last week at 3380 E. Mullan Ave. in Post Falls. The business also is at 274 W. Hanley Ave. in Coeur d’Alene.

Venia relocates

to Riverstone

Expertise in vein and skin health with a focus an age management medicine is offered at Venia. Formerly Vein Clinic Northwest, Venia is now at 2109 W. Main St. in Riverstone.

Dr. Douglas Stafford treats vein problems and emphasizes skin health focused on anti-aging, acne, rejuvenation, nutrition, exercise and hormone optimization. Lyndee Chatterton is practice manager.

Optical closing

• After 50 years of service, Little Mo’s Optical is closing in late March at 1720 Lincoln Way. Everything optical is 30 to 90 percent off. The furniture is for sale also.

Now for the Tidbits

• The Ugly Fish restaurant in Riverstone will be replaced with another eatery. And Press Start to Play will move from Sherman Avenue to Riverstone.

• The Beacon bar at Fourth and Sherman has reopened and renovated (with historic photos) after a summer fire. Serving adult beverages at the bar and tables, it opens at 11:30 a.m.

• Watch for Kitchen CDA in the Silver Lake Mall food court. Spies say other stores are coming into the mall also. Taco Loco will be where Valentino’s Pizza was off Canfield Avenue. The Gutter Guys will be on Government Way. Cash & Carry store will be behind Wendy’s off Appleway, and Cosmic Cowboy Grill will be at Highway 95 and Haycraft Avenue.

• In Hayden, Idaho Central Credit Union is under construction at Government Way and Honeysuckle. Sugarcoat Salon will be on Biztown Loop. An Asian eatery will be where Kynrede Cafe was and a gas station-convenience store in the southwest corner of Highway 95 and Lancaster. A new medical building is planned for 7772 N. Mystic St., which is south of Prairie across from Caddy Shack.

• A major development called The Crossroads is proposed for Athol. Watch for details. We anticipate a Super 1, a bank, coffee shop, a motel, a gas station-convenience store, a restaurant and others.

• Downtown — Watch for Cloud Nine Bridal in the Resort Plaza Shops and Rustic Restaurant at 309 Sherman (next to Clark’s Jewelry).

• New places in Post Falls will be Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Green & Grounds Coffee Shop, Cricket Wireless and The Lean Bean. Dominos Pizza is moving to a new place.

• New places coming to Tedder Business Center (formerly the Post Falls Outlet Mall) north building will include Black-Ops Self Defense, Knowhere Comics, Coffee & Games, SNR Costume Rental and The Coffee House.
