The Troy Trojans suffered a 70-18 loss over the weekend against the division’s top team, Bigfork.
In a blowout, the Bigfork Vikings never let the Trojans score in double digits. The Vikings tallied 16 points to Troy’s two just in the first quarter, and kept laying it on from there.
With 46-11 going into the second quarter, the Trojans made some improvements in defense, bridging the gap in score through the second half 26-8.
Zach Cotten scored the team-high of five points, as Dillon Savage, Mason Chapel and Tucker Winn each scored three. Jordan Day and Noah Caballero added two a piece.
The Trojans will host Eureka on Tuesday and Mission on Saturday before moving on to Districts on Feb. 14-18.
