Phil may be the most famous groundhog in Pennsylvania on Groundhog Day, but Noxon has Toby, the 2-year-old Lop-Eared bunny.
“It was Joe Weltz’s idea. Toby has the same coloring as a groundhog and he looks like one when his ears are down, Joe Webley stated. “It was a very cold and gorgeous day. We went to the park here and had a total of ten people attend since it was during the week many people were at work. To start we read about the very first Groundhog Day. We hope this will become an annual event here in Noxon.”

There are nine boys on the track team this year, eight more than the previous year. Some of the members of the team are new to track, as Head Coach Denise Montgomery discussed during a recent practice.
