NIC to host author of 'Among the Dead and Dreaming'

North Idaho College’s literary magazine Trestle Creek Review and the NIC English Club are presenting a reading by Samuel Ligon, author of the novels “Among the Dead and Dreaming” and “Safe in Heaven Dead” from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Writing Center in the Lee Hall Annex. The reading is free and open to the public.

Ligon is also the author of two collections of stories: “Wonderland,” illustrated by Stephen Knezovich, and “Drift and Swerve.” He is the editor of “Willow Springs” and the artistic director of the Port Townsend Writers’ Conference. He teaches at Eastern Washington University in Spokane.
