A personalized boutique experience is the object of Cloud Nine Bridal, which opens Wednesday in Suite 129 (southeast corner) of The Resort Plaza Shops at 210 E. Sherman Ave.
Lisa Seher and Tara Ovnicek offer bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, formal wear, in-house alterations, custom orders and off-the-rack options with attention to every detail.

ICCU building Hayden branch
The 30th location in Idaho for a branch of Idaho Central Credit Union is under construction at 8760 N. Government Way (southeast corner with Honeysuckle) in Hayden.
With a mid-summer opening, it will have a two-lane drive-through with an ATM. With eight employees, it will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

New physical therapy building for Hayden
Outgrowing its 18-year building at 7780 Mineral Drive (behind Kohl's), Hayden Lake Physical Therapy & Aquatic Center is building a new place on the corner of Prairie and Mystic (next to Caddyshack).
Dr. Dirk Baird's new place will include his eight employees, a 93-degree therapy pool, an exercise room, private treatment rooms and massage therapy next fall. Its sister clinic Ironwood Drive Physical Therapy has been there for more than 40 years.

A-2-Z self-storage building on Ramsey
Phase I of 133 units for A-2-Z Self Storage is under construction at 10149 N. Ramsey Road in Hayden. Ranging from 100 to 616 square feet, the units should be done this spring.
It will include individual door alarms, onsite management, wide driveway aisles and large doors. Manager is Ed Morse. Phone 667-5583.
Canfield kids plan D.C. trip
Granddaughter Eliza Jasmin will be part of a chili feed and silent auction 5-7:30 p.m. Friday at Canfield Middle School to raise money for an eighth grader June trip to Washington, D.C., New York and Lancaster, Pa.
Using my hobby of building things from old printer's type and illustrations, I'm donating a pencil box with ?Idaho? and a copper eagle and elk. To submit auction donations contact Ginny Welton at glwelton1116@gmail.com or drop them off at the school (15th Street and Dalton Avenue) by Feb. 16.
The feed with chili, all the trimmings and non-alcohol beverages is $8 for 12 and older and $5 for kids 5-11.

- Java on Sherman's last day of business is Wednesday with a ?moving on? party 5-7 p.m. Dave and Lindsey Patterson had the business downtown for 22 years and still have an outlet in Prairie Shopping Center. Regular hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. (closed Sunday).
- The Ugly Fish restaurant in Riverstone will be replaced with another eatery. And Press Start to Play will move from Sherman Avenue to Riverstone.
- Watch for Kitchen CDA in the Silver Lake Mall food court. Spies say other stores are coming into the mall also. Taco Loco will be where Valentino's Pizza was off Canfield Avenue The Gutter Guys will be on Government Way. Cash & Carry store will be behind Wendy's off Appleway, and Cosmic Cowboy Grill will be at Highway 95 and Haycraft Avenue.
- In Hayden, Sugarcoat Salon will be on Biztown Loop. An Asian eatery will be where Kynrede Cafe was and a gas station-convenience store in the southwest corner of Highway 95 and Lancaster.
- A major development called The Crossroads is proposed for Athol. Watch for details. We anticipate a Super 1, a bank, coffee shop, a motel, a gas station-convenience store, a restaurant and others.
- Downtown ? Watch for Rustic Restaurant at 309 Sherman (next to Clark's Jewelry).
- Domino's Pizza is moving to a new place in Post Falls. New places coming to Tedder Business Center (formerly the Post Falls Outlet Mall) north building will include Black-Ops Self Defense, Knowhere Comics, Coffee & Games, SNR Costume Rental, The Coffee House and My Big Fat Greek Deli.
- The colors red, white and blue stand for freedom until they're flashing behind you.
- A real headline: Police begin campaign to run down jaywalkers.
