Event to benefit wilderness group

SANDPOINT — Pend d’Oreille Winery will host The Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness during its annual Sip ‘n’ Shop event at the winery, 301 Cedar St.

The event will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. Ten percent of all food, beverage, and merchandise sales will go toward the effort to designate Scotchman Peaks as wilderness. Join FSPW for a fun-filled evening with food, wine, a small silent auction, and live music performed by John Hastings and FSPW’s own Sandy Compton. Bring your friends and raise a glass in support of wilderness.
