Darrelyn Rose is the Artist of the Month
For the Herald | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 8 years, 1 month AGO
Local artist Darrelyn Rose is the Boundary County Artist Association’s Artist of the Month. Her work will be on display in the Mountain West Bank lobby from Feb. 13 to March 13.
Darrelyn’s style is realistic, sometimes impressionistic, with light reflecting mood. A member of the Boundary County Artist’s Association (BCAA), she works mainly in acrylic and watercolor pencil.
BCAA meets the second Monday of each month and new members are always welcome. The Association’s mission is to promote the encouragement of art and artists, as well as facilitate the sharing of art with our community. To fulfill the latter, BCAA members exhibit their work, either individually or as a group, at four Boundary County locations: Mountain West Bank, Boundary County Library, Boundary Community Hospital and the Community Restorium.
For further information concerning BCAA, or if you would like your business to participate in showcasing local artists, contact BCAA President Vicki Bleile at 610-5615.
