The Lake Pend Oreille School District offers 15 Career & Technical Education programs at three high schools. Our CTE programs prepare students for specific skilled trades and careers at various levels. A CTE program is a sequence of classes in an occupational area. Occupational areas offered in the district include business technology, computer aided design, natural resources management, food service/culinary, information systems technology, health occupations (certified nursing assistant) and welding technology.

CTE programs give students experience, confidence and a head start in their career choice. All CTE programs offer hand-on experiences in their career area, student leadership opportunities, industry guest speakers and the use of innovative technologies. I’m proud of our diverse opportunities offered to students and also to be an instructor in the school district. Please continue to support our schools.
