Students at some area high schools will be selling raffle tickets for a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta donated by Post Falls Volkswagen to benefit their school activities.

The car will be at the 1A Division II District 1 Boys Basketball Tournament at Lakeland High on Tuesday.

Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the schools and by the students.

Schools benefitting from the raffle will be Genesis Prep Academy in Post Falls, Lakeside, Kootenai, St. Maries, Kellogg, Mullan, Wallace and Clark Fork.

The drawing will be held on Nov. 18 during the boys basketball jamboree at Wallace High.

All of the proceeds go toward activities at the schools.

The raffle is similar to the one in which Parker Toyota donates a vehicle to benefit high school activities at Post Falls, Lakeland, Timberlake, Coeur d'Alene and Lake City.
