Wallace Clinton Judd, 83
1933-2017
Wally passed from this life Feb. 20, 2017. He was born Nov. 16, 1933, in Los Angeles, Calif.
Wally grew up in California, where he met and married the love of his life, Dorothy. They were happily married for more than 61 years. Together they had three children, Carole, Lynn and Kristopher. Also, they were blessed with six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Wally and Dorothy moved to Idaho in 1991 and have loved it here. Most of their family live nearby; Lynn and her husband Bob live in Reno, Nev., and her daughter, Jessica lives in Southern California.
Wally was an Anaheim, Calif., policeman for 16 years, then went on to teach Administration of Justice at Chaffey College in Alta Loma, Calif. Wally worked at the Kootenai County JDC until he retired to a small ranch in Athol. He occasionally boarded horses and had taken in goats that needed a home.
Wally was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a hard worker and keeping his yard looking beautiful was a point of pride for him. He loved music and travel. Wally and Dorothy took several cruises in their time and also enjoyed road trips together.
Wally passed peacefully at Hospice in Hayden. There will not be a service, just remember us in your prayers. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of North Idaho.
We are going to miss you, dad.
