COEUR d'ALENE — When L. Terry Pudwill was reportedly kicked out of a Sherman Avenue bar Monday for being combative and belligerent, the 61-year-old Post Falls man's alleged misdeeds had just begun.

After Coeur d'Alene Police officers arrived and put Pudwill in alcohol protective custody at Kootenai Health — he needed to be medically cleared before being sent to jail — the man allegedly urinated on multiple nurses.

"At the hospital, Terry attempted to urinate on the charge nurse and other nursing staff and urinated on their shoes," a Coeur d'Alene Police report read.

He wasn't done, according to the report.

When the nursing staff was helping Pudwill drink water, he allegedly spit the water at a police officer.

He was booked into Kootenai County jail on charges of felony battery of a health care worker and misdemeanor battery of a peace officer. His first court appearance was Tuesday.

Pudwill's criminal history in Kootenai County includes patronizing a prostitute and possession of drug paraphernalia, both in 2015. He was charged with malicious injury to property last month.
