QUINCY — Quincy won eight matches in a row to rally from an early deficit, routing Wapato 43-18.

The Wolves won two of the first three matches to take a 6-3 lead. Devon Salcedo (145) edged Jose Acevedo 11-9 to kick-start the Quincy run.

Geo Garcia (152), Tanner Wallace (160), Jerry Hodges (195) and Ruben Vargas (220) won by fall; Wapato forfeited 170 pounds.

Ray Robinson (182) beat Javier Cortez 14-2 and Rey Rubio (285) dispatched Cresencio Estrada 7-1, giving Quincy a 43-6 lead.

Wapato won the final three matches of the dual by decision.

Entiat 52, Moses Lake Christian Academy 23

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Christian Academy dropped a Central Washington 1B league game to Entiat 52-23.

Kyersten Hunt scored a team-high 14 points; Rylee Homesley added nine.

The Lions dropped to 1-2 in league play and 1-8 overall. Despite Thursday’s loss, the Lions improved on a 64-9 defeat against the Tigers on Dec. 1.

Eisenhower 3, Moses Lake 2

YAKIMA — Moses Lake girls bowling lost on the road to second-place Eisenhower 3-2.

The Cadets won Game 1 799-727; the Chiefs won the second game 787-764. The Baker games were also split with Eisenhower winning the first 165-109 and Moses Lake winning the second 186-168.

Eisenhower was awarded the win with 87 more total pins.

Jasmine Steele and Charlene Sanislo had high games for the Chiefs with 182 and 181 pins, respectively.

The Chiefs fell to 4-6 in the Columbia Basin Big Nine and 5-6 overall.

Othello, Warden dominate double dual

OTHELLO — Othello hosted Warden, Toppenish and Grandview in a Central Washington Girls Wrestling League double dual.

Othello dominated Toppenish and Grandview 84-0 and 76-0, respectively. Warden also won big over Toppenish, 76-0, and Grandview, 72-6.

The Huskies and Cougars will travel to the Kelso Invitational this weekend — a 70-team tournament comprised of five states (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and Nevada).
