Post Falls second after first day at Rollie Lane

NAMPA — Brelane Huber (98 pounds), Ridge Lovett (106), Jordan Grimm (113), A.J. De La Rosa (120), Matt McLeod (126), Mathias De La Rosa (132), Jason Burchell (138), Braydon Huber (145), Wyatt Shelly (152), Brad Noesen (220) all advanced to the quarterfinals for Post Falls, which is second with 111.5 points after Friday’s first day of the 17th annual Rollie Lane Invitational at the Ford Idaho Center.

Sam Edelblute (106), Tavis Woempner (113), William Edelblute (113), Brian Edelblute (126), Larry Johnson (138) and Jared Walker (195) advanced to the quarterfinals for Lakeland, which is ninth with 85.5 points.

Columbia of Nampa leads the tournament with 116.5 points.

Isaiah Evans (106) advanced to the quarterfinals for Timberlake and will face Lovett in a quarterfinal match.

Lake City eighth, Cd’A 10th

at U-High tourney

SPOKANE VALLEY — Skylar Neils (138 pounds), Griffin Schoch (160), Andrew Olvera (182), Rusty Dan (195) and Zane Lettau (285) won opening round matches for Lake City at the Pacific Northwest Classic at University High.

Lake City is eighth with 20 points in the 17-team tournament.

Hunter Schueller (106 pounds), Garrett Ashby (126), Mitchell Moffat (132), Max Peressini (145) and Tanner Peterson (285) won opening round matches for Coeur d’Alene, which is 10th with 18 points. Mead leads the tournament with 36 points.
