Dickey's Barbecue to open Thursday

Slow-smoked barbecue on-site is the trademark of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurant that opens Thursday on a west-central pad off Highway 95 at Silver Lake Mall. Skippers was there before it moved into the mall food court.
Dickey’s will offer several signature meats, home-style sides, tangy barbecue sauce and free kids’ meals every Sunday. With fast-casual food in a rustic decor, the place seats 76 customers at long family-style tables.
Founded in 1941, Dickey’s has more than 500 locations in 43 states. Hours here are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Phone 719-0361. Check www.dickeys.com.
Ugly Fish closing,
changing eatery
After five years of serving customers in Riverstone, the Ugly Fish Asian Bistro will close at the end of the month. The building owners plan to open a ramen (home-made noodle) restaurant in the same place in mid-February.
The owners encourage people with gift cards to use them or come in for refunds. They also have the sister store Ding How restaurant in Liberty Lake.
Hours through Jan. 15 are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, 11 to close Friday, noon to close Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. Hours Jan. 17-31 are 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 4-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. No groups more than 12. Phone 667-6389.

Group classes are 7 and 8 a.m. Saturdays with open gym from 9-11 a.m. A new lunchtime group fitness class is noon to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. A 10-week fitness and weight-loss challenge starts Jan. 16.

Moving from Hayden Avenue, Traci & Charli’s Full-Service Salon is now at 1101 W. Ironwood Drive (enter in the northwest corner).
The independent contractors offer acrylic nails, gel polish, manicures, pedicures, male and female haircuts, coloring and other chemical services, skin care, body waxing, facial waxing, eyebrow shaping, waxing, tinting and microblading and a retail section of beauty products. Expanding will include a selfie station, espresso bar and infrared sauna.
