OTHELLO — Four suspects in an early January armed robbery near Othello have been taken into custody. One suspect is still at large and Adams County deputies are asking the public to come forward with information about the suspect.
On Jan. 2 the Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 800 block of state Route 24, near Othello. Victims at the scene claimed three masked people came into their residence sometime overnight. One of the suspects was allegedly armed with a black semi-automatic pistol with a silver barrel and threatened to shoot and kill the occupants of the house.
The assailants allegedly struck one of the victims in the face several times with a closed fist. The victims claimed they were put into a bedroom and threatened not to leave. The suspects left the house with several stolen items, including a few cellphones, one of which was later tracked to the east Wenatchee area.
Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputies, East Wenatchee Police Department officers, Wenatchee Police Department officers, Chelan County Sheriff’s Office deputies and U.S. Marshals caught two of the suspects, Zane Grissom, 29, and Jacklyn Yarborough, 27, both of the greater Wenatchee area, in Wenatchee a few days after the robbery. Grissom and Yarborough were booked into the Adams County Jail on robbery charges and arrest warrants.
Two more suspects, Kevin Bradley, 37, and Jennifer Ramsay, 29, both of the greater Wenatchee area, were later caught and booked into the Chelan County Jail on robbery charges and warrants. The ACSO is still looking for a fifth person, Samuel Draper, 38, of the Wenatchee area, in connection with the robbery.
“We are confident in his (Draper’s) capture very soon,” stated the sheriff’s office.
If you have information on Draper’s location contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at 509-488-2061. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
