Lady Loggers defeat Bonners and Polson

The Lady Loggers pulled through against Bonners Ferry and Polson last week, climbing the Class B ladder.

On Thursday, the Lady Loggers ventured to Bonners Ferry, where in a close game, they managed to edge their opponents for a 43-40 tight victory, taking advantage of a strong first quarter.

Jayden Winslow’s 16-point lead led the team with Shannon Reny coming in with 11. Alli Collins tallied six, Khalyn Hageness and Abby Ennenga scored three, Madisen Monigold scored two and Brooklyn Rainer, Sammee Bradeen and Isabelle Martineau each scored one.

The Lady Loggers were able to knock off Polson on Saturday, having 34-27 on the scoreboard that paved their way to a 64-53 victory.

Reny’s 24 points led the Libby’s coup, with Winslow adding 14. Ennenga added nine points, Rainer scored seven, Monigold had three, Collins, Bradeen and Hageness each scored two and Gruber scored one.
